  Great coffees, ample bottle and tap beers, and decent wines on offer. Small dining selection which is good quality but a tad limited, and smidge pricey, could do with 3 or 4 extra items on the menu. Only reason why i gave 4 stars. But what they do, they do well. Seems to be the way some places are going these days and i think this is better for all, fresher food and hopefully more consistent in qlty. Staff have been faultless when we've been there, and the chicken liver parfait is truly the best ive ever had anywhere-with a good red and crusty bread- magnificent. Hats off to the chef Simply melts on the tongue, not grainy, worth a visit just for this, and i dont have any affiliation with The Local either. Well done lads and ladettes, the queens could take a leaf out of their book, just horrible nowadays 05/2017 Having visited the local on a number of occasions since, its apparent its becoming a tad too pricey and imho are loosing what once made them fantastic. Ambiance and service for me have been good, but the prices and offerings are a joke. Usually only half full with patrons these days and the menu is blah and offers little value. People are voting with their feet and going elsewhere, and now so am I. Dying a slow death.

  An good place for coffee and breakfast with some nice healthy & even vegan options. Less recommended for beer or cocktails, I wish they would improve on it and possibly provide beer on tap in the future as the place jas a good potential as a nightly stop. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual.

  Good service, good gourmet food. A cosy place with private booths as well as a sunny courtyard.
